The next movie in our FREE Paramount Film Screening Series will be “Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero”! This film was decided by a poll voted on by the public.
This is the second animated film based on Batman: The Animated Series, after Mask of the Phantasm. Characters from the series reprise their roles, and the film won the Annie Award for Best Home Video Animation.
This movie starts at 7PM, is free, and there will be refreshments available for free as well! We will be playing the film in our studio at 181 Union Street in Downtown Lynn.
Check out the Facebook event by clicking here.
The Paramount Film Series is named in honor of the Paramount Theater, which used to sit at the same location that LCTV occupies today. On the second Monday of each month LCTV will screen a different film for free at 7PM, with doors opening at 6:30PM.
Every month we will pick a theme for the next screening and before the film play three movies that fit that theme. The public can then vote and decide which movie plays next!
We’ll be playing special holiday programming every Saturday until Christmas, and Christmas Day! Click the flier for the schedule.
Every year the annual Christmas Eve Parade goes on a 23–mile journey through the City of Lynn. The parade was started in 1986 by Rich Viger and John’s Oil. Rich Viger passed away on Jan. 24, 2013, but a dedicated committee keeps the parade running every year.
