Virtual Housing Forum, LPS Schoology Help Video, Salvation Army Needs Volunteers

On September 23 at 6:00 p.m., Housing Lynn will host a virtual forum to talk with the community about what kind of housing development they want in the city.

MAPC will present work to date to identify types of sites suitable for different kinds of housing in Lynn. Attendees will be asked about their priorities for new housing, from design to affordability, via a live poll.

The presentation will be given in English with live Spanish interpretation. A video recording of the presentation and a survey for those who can’t attend the forum will be posted on the project website after the event.

El 23 de septiembre a las 6:00 p.m., Housing Lynn organizará un foro virtual para conversar con la comunidad sobre el tipo de desarrollo de viviendas que desearían tener en la ciudad. MAPC presentará el trabajo realizado hasta la fecha para identificar los tipos de sitios adecuados para los diferentes tipos de vivienda en Lynn. Se preguntará a los participantes sobre sus prioridades para nuevos desarrollos residenciales, desde el diseño hasta la asequibilidad, a través de una encuesta en vivo.

La presentación se hará en inglés con interpretación en español en vivo. Para aquellos que no puedan asistir al foro, se publicará en la página web del proyecto, una grabación en vídeo de la
presentación junto con una encuesta.

The Salvation Army is in of need healthy non-high-risk volunteers who are willing to lift boxes and work outside at their Food Pantry.

The hours have changed from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm to accommodate families with kids learning remotely.
